Ecommerce is more than simply selecting products online and paying with a credit card at a checkout. There are frequent interactions between potential customers and products, many of which drive customers to bricks and mortars stores to purchase items researched online over the counter.
For one Appnetix client this interaction was imperative. The client had a UK-wide network of branches providing its customers with first-class electrical goods and a real commitment to service. Ensuring customers could find its branches, many of which offered specialisms, was imperative.
Appnetix was commissioned to provide a joined up mobile application suite, supporting Android and Apple phones, so that customers could quickly and easily find the outlets they required via the app.
The Apps, which were integrated into an Umbraco Content Management System (CMS) system, were developed using a Maui-based technology platform and provide users with precise details on branches' locations, contact details and other useful information.
The apps provide real-time information and have increased visibility for the company's clients enabling customers to find the nearest outlets wherever they are.
